- Ensuring the correct on-time delivery of technical AM services
- Supporting the line manager in the daily supervision and proactive management of the solar Portfolio, located in the growing Eastern EU market
- Optimizing the availability and performance of the solar portfolio under supervision
- Supporting the line manager in developing a growing and diverse international technical team
- Management of the relationships with Operation & Maintenance contractors and the Client on technical issues
- Track and solve any incident onsite with a proactive approach
- Ensuring all O&M / other service providers achieve, at a minimum, their contractual obligations by undertaking monthly reviews of reports and documents, managing meetings, follow-up actions and by issuing defects notices/formal letters promptly, in a professional and appropriate manner
- Supervision of the site visits outcomes, executed by the site managers and post-construction punch lists
- Preparation and delivery of periodic technical reports on performance and other operational KPIs
- Support in the preparation of yearly budgets
- Analysis and control of the technical documentation related to the plants
- Support to the other international departments in ensuring the compliance with DNOs, insurance companies, Public Entities, and other stakeholders
- Cultivating and fostering a culture of quality, effectiveness and efficiency
- Constantly identifying and implementing process improvements
- Ownership of issue resolution & superb task prioritisation skills
- Support to the line manager in establishing and maintaining an environment of internal control and integrity
- Interacting with and reporting to the line manager and the other WiseEnergy departments
- Promoting through word and deed the culture of WiseEnergy throughout all team members
- Perform site visits to sites and report on findings, when required
- Work Experience: 1-3 years of experience on Solar PV, preferably in the field of renewable energy (Asset Management, Technical Advisor, Owners’ Engineer, O&M contractor, EPC, etc.) and / or in similar business positions.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a STEM subject.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English, a second language in Spanish, Portuguese, Italian or Polish is advantageous.
- Technical Skills:
- Comprehensive knowledge of the technical characteristics of PV plants
- Proved knowledge of the solar Portfolios operations
- Understanding of root causes of site problems
- In-depth analysis of the performance of the plants
- Being able to avoid or limit substantial failures
- Knowledge of electrical instrumental tests typically required in PV operations
- Proved experience in working in technical teams
- Proved experience in the management of the relationship with stakeholders
- Proved experience in the management of claims against manufacturers/contractors
- Quality-oriented
- Interdisciplinary general knowledge
- International experience would be a plus
IT Skills: Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Teams; SCADA systems; PVSyst (appreciated but not required)
